Valentine's Day vs Islam vs Christianity?

Carved by ♥ F ♥

Hello once again.. yes, so I stumbled upon a video while scouting for some ideas for Valentine's Day and I thought I'd share it with you.

NOTE: It's in Malay language so if you're from a foreign country, I humbly apologize for your trouble understanding it.

I believe, this video says all.

Honestly, I am surprised to see how little things people celebrate just for their loved ones, mostly by the younger generations seem to be a "deadly weapon" towards the older generation.

Nobody really is "worshipping" this day and "supporting" anything regarding its deep, dark history. Nobody takes this very day to be anything related to religion or a way for Christians to "spread" their religion and make muslims "convert" either.

Everyone just celebrates it by taking their loved ones out and making them feel special on that very day itself. Nobody starts fights, riots or debates about it (aside from little spit fires about lonely singles or raging jealous ex-boyfriends/girlfriends) .. so why bring back the sensitive topic and make them afraid of celebrating something which is now commercialized

The answer to that question remains a mystery... LOL!

Oh, and I quote a friend who's muslim who said this:

" We don't celebrate it for St. Valentine! It's a day we celebrate love! "

This is ♥ F ♥ signing out for now.. you know you love me :) xoxo

Hey dickhead, just because you want "more hits" on your blog you start screwing and interfering on other's people religion? Shutup dont get involved in other people's religion. Stay out of ours and we'll stay out of yours. And dont make up fake muslim quotation when there is no such person. If there is, why hide the person's ident? .. The history has genocide and massacres in it. Apparently based on your concept, next time we can all celebrate adolf hitler day and sell cute swastika and adolf dolls then cause we celebrate cuteness not his dark history. Don't get into something your intellectual capacity cannot grasp.

Lolz, apparently you fail to understand my post above. I was clearly stating that it is commercialized and pretty much everyone celebrates it but not in a religious/cult sort of way. All they do is take their loved ones out and spend some quality time since the day itself is so commercialized and everyone just has fun making each other smile.

Nobody is throwing some crazy cult celebration with bloodbath or a ton of alcohol unless of course that's how you still see it in 2012.

Also, I did not name the above mentioned because I respect people's privacy.

No need to slander others and use vulgar words just to justify your strong beliefs and attempt in claiming that the world still revolves around the dark ages where this very day means genocide or massacre.

We're in 2012.
